Company Name: TIPA

Headquarters: Hod Hasharon, Israel

Website: http://tipa-corp.com

Headcount: 30 people

Profile: TIPA is a developer and manufacturer of fully compostable flexible packaging solutions and is on a mission to change the plastic waste history.

TIPA was founded in 2010 by Daphna Nissenbaum and Tal Neuman to address the plastic waste challenge.

All TIPA's packages will disintegrate and fully go back to nature within a few months. The company offers a viable alternative for flexible packaging mainly for food and apparel industries.

TIPA's packaging is partially bio-based and has similar mechanical and shelf-life properties as ordinary plastic. However, TIPA believes that just like kitchen waste, flexible packaging should be a natural part of the organic waste stream.

TIPA's vision is for flexible packaging to have the same end-of-life as organic matter, while still offering consumers and brands the durability, transparency and shelf life they have come to expect from conventional plastics.

It aims to make compostable packaging which is able to seamlessly fit into today's methodology of logistics and manufacturing practices.
