The deadline for entries to the UK's most prestigious green business awards is 5pm on Match 17th

The UK's green business community has just one week left to get its entries in for the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards 2017 and be in with a chance of winning one of the industry's most high profile accolades.

The awards are open to any business, organisation or green executive with a presence in the UK and the deadline for entries is 5pm 17 March 2017.

"There's just one week left to get your entries in and highlight the innovative and inspiring work your organisation is doing to advance the green economy," said BusinessGreen Editor-in-Chief James Murray. "BusinessGreen is enjoying its 10th anniversary this year and to celebrate our awards will be bigger and better than ever as we seek to once again bring together some of the most exciting and important organisations working in the UK today - and we want as many of our readers as possible to join us."

Now in their seventh year, the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards are the largest and most prestigious green business awards in the UK, bringing together 600 top politicians, CEOs, sustainability executives, investors, and entrepreneurs to celebrate the best of the green economy at a glamorous awards ceremony at The Brewery in Central London.

Previous winners include high profile figures, such as Lord Stuart Rose, Sir Ian Cheshire, and Caroline Lucas, leading blue chips such as PwC, RBS, Bupa, and O2, and innovative clean tech firms and green start-ups such as FIA Formula E, Gnewt Cargo, Good Energy, and Hubbub UK.

The awards are free to enter and organisations can enter as many categories as they see fit. However, in order to deliver the event all shortlisted entries are required to purchase a minimum of two tickets to attend the ceremony and make use of supporting marketing material.

The shortlist for the awards will be announced during the week of April 3rd and successful applicants will have until June 5th to confirm their attendance at the awards at The Brewery in Central London on the evening of 28th June.

The awards will be judged by our expert panel of independent judges. As in previous years, the judging panel will be split in two during the judging process to ensure all the shortlisted entries are fully considered and judges are only assigned to categories where there is no potential conflict of interest.
