With Summit confirmed for Green Great Britain Week in October there is just one week left to take advantage of the early bird rate

Energy and Clean Growth Minister Claire Perry is set to deliver one of the keynote addresses at this year's BusinessGreen Leaders Summit on October 16th.

Perry joins an expanding line-up of high profile speakers at the event, which will take place on the Tuesday of the government's Green Great Britain Week at The Crystal in London's Docklands.

BusinessGreen can today confirm delegates will also hear from Craig Bennett, chief executive of Friends of the Earth, as well as Pam Batty, vice president for corporate responsibility at Burberry, Caroline Laurie, head of sustainability at Kingfisher plc, and Eliot Whittington of the Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change.

In addition, Perry's keynote address will be accompanied by a science keynote from Corinne Le Quéré, director at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research.

With just a week to go for readers to take advantage of the 'early bird' rate for the Summit, the day-long conference is set to provide green executives with an invaluable insight into the trends and innovations that will shape the green economy in the coming years.

Further speaker announcements are planned for the coming weeks with the full agenda set to feature inspiring keynote addresses, case studies from top blue chip firms, and workshops providing in-depth insight into how to drive effective corporate sustainability agendas.

The Summit marks the centrepiece of a busy autumn for BusinessGreen, which will also feature the brand's first half-day Leaders Briefing event on September 21st.

The event - titled Navigating the TCFD Maze - will provide exclusive insight into how businesses can respond to growing pressure from investors to improve climate disclosures in line with the recommendations from the Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosures. Confirmed speakers including Hermes Investment Management CEO Saker Nusseibeh, chair of the Environmental Audit Committee of MPs Mary Creagh, and head of sustainability and public affairs at Landsec Caroline Hill.

Tickets for both events are now available, with passes also available for BusinessGreen Leaders Subscribers.
