Analysis by think tank Sandbag reveals fall in electricity emissions in 2016, but only slight increase in share of power generation from renewables

Emissions from power generation in Europe fell by 4.5 per cent last year, largely due to a "huge" switch from coal to gas, joint analysis by green think tanks Sandbag and Agora Energiewende has found....
