Company Name: Pure Planet

Headquarters: Bath

Website: https://purepla.net

Headcount: 45 people

Profile: Pure Planet is Britain's first app-based energy supplier and the first domestic supplier to offer 100 percent renewable electricity and 100 percent carbon offset gas.

The Pure Planet app offers totally digital services in a competitive and easy to use way, allowing customers to quickly switch to clean energy sources.

Using an artificial intelligence chatbot known as ‘WattBot', everything, including customer service, is done digitally and available 24/7.

With an easy to use and dynamic app design, Pure Planet makes switching to renewable energy accessible to a larger demographic.

Members are able to manage their account by tracking energy usage month on month both in kilowatt hours used and in pounds spent, providing customers with greater awareness of their energy consumption and helping them cut down on costs.

More than 60,000 people have downloaded the Pure Planet app, which helps each of its member save on average 3.7 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.

Pure Planet, which was incorporated in 2015, is the only small independent energy supplier to be a signatory of the UN Global Compact. The company supports numerous carbon offset projects and is working to make renewables the mass market of consumer choice.

The Pure Planet app can be downloaded from Apple App store or Google Play.
