Jim Totty is managing partner at Sustainable Technology Investors Ltd (STIL), which he joined in 2011 after previously working in private equity and energy roles at Citi, PricewaterhouseCoopers and earlier in academia.

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has a PhD in Physics from Imperial College.

STIL manages investments in the renewable energy, energy efficiency, water and waste sectors. STIL manages family office capital, institutional funds, and high net worth investments through private equity funds. STIL focuses on the asset development of cash generative sustainable infrastructure, and on growth capital and venture capital investments.
