Green technology businesses have just a few days left to submit their entry for this year's awards and join the new BusinessGreen Technology Awards Hub

The UK's clean and green technology businesses and projects have just a week left to submit their entry for this year's BusinessGreen Technology Awards.

Now in their fourth year, the BusinessGreeen Technology Awards BusinessGreen Technology Awards 2018 will take place on the afternoon of Friday December 7th at the May Fair Hotel in central London.

The gala lunch and awards ceremony will bring together many of the UK's leading green technology innovators, executives, investors, and entrepreneurs to celebrate some of the most exciting developments from across the green economy over the past 18 months.

The event will also see a keynote address from Labour's shadow Treasury Minister for Sustainable Economics, Clive Lewis, MP.

From blue chip multinationals to early stage start-ups, the BusinessGreen Technology Awards provide a unique opportunity to highlight many of the technologies and innovations that will be critical to the development of a genuinely sustainable economy, while also showcasing some of the most exciting green technology businesses in the UK to investors, policymakers, and future customers.

The categories for the awards aim to celebrate every part of the green technology community from renewables, transport, and R&D programmes to biotech, recycling, and digital breakthroughs.

This year the Awards will be accompanied by a dedicated online content hub, providing finalists with the chance to present their technologies and showcase their achievements to the widest possible audience. Detailed profiles of all confirmed finalists will provide clean tech firms with the opportunity to raise their profile and present their technology to prospective investors, customers, and key stakeholders.

All shortlisted entrants that confirm their attendance will not only get to enjoy the awards ceremony and lunch, they will also receive a logo for marketing purposes and a dedicated profile on the BusinessGreen Technology Awards content hub designed to raise their profile, showcase their technology, improve SEO, and help finalists connect with key stakeholders.

The BusinessGreen Technology Awards are free to enter. However, BusinessGreen can only invest in hosting such a high profile event if organisations that are short listed do then attend the awards. As such we can only judge and profile finalists that confirm their attendance at the awards ceremony and would urge entrants to check they have the time and budget to attend the event before submitting an entry.

The deadline for entries is 5pm on Friday October 12th.
