BusinessGreen Leaders' Summit: Tickets now available for 10th anniversary event

Inaugural Summit to bring together thought leaders from across the green economy to mark BusinessGreen's 10th anniversary and discuss the future of sustainable business

The inaugural BusinessGreen Leaders' Summit has been confirmed for November 9th at The Crystal venue in East London.

The day long Summit will bring together sustainability executives, green investors and entrepreneurs, and environmental policymakers from across the green economy to hear from a host of top level speakers and discuss the long term future of the UK's green economy.

The special summit - which is timed to coincide with BusinessGreen's 10th anniversary - will take place at The Crystal venue, which was developed by Siemens as part of its sustainable cities initiative and provides a showcase for a host of clean technologies that help make it one of the world's greenest buildings.

The venue's green credentials will be matched by BusinessGreen's agenda for the day, which will feature a range of keynote speakers, insightful panellists, and hosted workshop sessions that will explore the long term trends and themes that businesses need to be aware of as they prepare for the next stage of the green economy's development.

"Over the past 10 years BusinessGreen has seen the UK's green economy transform from niche concern to multibillion pound global success story," said BusinessGreen editor-in-chief James Murray. "But the next decade promises to be more exciting still. As clean technologies mature, environmental pressures intensify, and the policy landscape evolves businesses need to be ready and able to look beyond the short term and respond to the long term trends that are defining the economy.

"Our inaugural Summit will provide invaluable insight into how organisations can ensure that they prosper over the coming decade."

The Summit will feature a series of speeches, panel discussions, networking events, technology showcases, and workshops, all designed to explore how the green economy is transforming across the fields of business and leadership, politics and policy, and technology and innovation.
