The second annual BusinessGreen Technology Awards will take place in London on the afternoon of December 2nd, 2016

BusinessGreen has today confirmed the date for the second annual BusinessGreen Technology Awards as Friday December 2nd, 2016.

The UK's leading clean tech awards will take place at a secret London location from 12:30pm, bringing together clean tech entrepreneurs, engineers, executives and investors from across the country.

Hosted in association with Innovate UK, this year's event will feature a networking reception, three course lunch, and awards ceremony.

The ceremony will incorporate a number of new awards, as well as the chance to compete for the second year for our coveted titles, such as Consumer Gadget of the Year, Solar Technology of the Year, Breakthrough of the Year, Circular Economy Innovation of the Year, Clean and Cool Award for International Impact, and Technology of the Year.

The BusinessGreen Technology Awards will be officially launched the week commencing August 15th and will be open for entries until Friday September 30th.

"Following the success of the inaugural BusinessGreen Technology Awards we are once again inviting the UK's most inspiring clean tech firms to put themselves forward and promote the transformational products and services they are developing," said BusinessGreen Editor-in-Chief James Murray. "It has been a thrilling year for the clean tech sector as clean energy costs have continued to plummet, green transport technologies have made major strides into the mainstream, and early stage investment has neared record levels. It is now more important than ever that this most inspiring of sectors showcases its many strengths."

The awards are free to enter to any organisation with some form of UK presence, but under the terms and conditions all shortlisted finalists are required to purchase a minimum of two tickets to attend the awards lunch and ceremony. Attendees will receive a three course lunch, exclusive networking opportunities, and a certificate and digital logo to highlight their position as a BusinessGreen Technology Awards finalist.

All winners will receive a BusinessGreen Technology Award and will be profiled on BusinessGreen in the weeks following the awards ceremony.
