Free exhibition showcasing the best in green travel as part of Camden Council's green travel festival 2011
Camden Council's green travel festival aims to raise awareness of sustainable travel and to encourage more people in the borough to find greener ways to get from A to B.
As part of the festival, the Council will be holding a green travel expo, showcasing the latest electric cars and bikes.
Some of the vehicles on display will include:
* The Nissan LEAF - a five-seater hatchback that recently won the European Car of the Year Award;
* The Citroen C-Zero, the Mitsubishi i-MiEV and the Peugeot iOn -
three all-electric five-door hatchbacks;
* The eExpert van;
* A range of electric bikes from 3e-ltd, e-bikes Direct and Spencer Ivy.
Some of Camden Council's own green fleet of vehicles will also be on display and all electricity at the expo will be provided by the Council's hydrogen fuel cell generator.
Electric car clubs Green Motion and Hertz, and car sharing network Carbon Heroes will also be on hand to provide information on the benefits of green travel.
