Welcome to the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards 2014 - the UK's most prestigious and coveted green business awards
The BusinessGreen Leaders Awards 2014 will take place on the evening of July 2nd at the Brewery in the City of London.
Now in their fourth year, the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards celebrate the leading businesses, executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and campaigners from across the green economy, highlighting how these pioneers are driving the emergence of innovative and sustainable new business models.
The theme of this year's awards is inspiring innovation.
The BusinessGreen Leaders Awards will celebrate the most innovative projects, the most innovative technologies, the most innovative business models, the most innovative executives, and the most innovative entrepreneurs working today.
Sponsored by URS, Ricoh, and Solarcentury, and supported by charity partner Solar Aid, the awards cover every aspect of the green economy from transport to energy and from small businesses to multinationals, providing organisations of all sizes with the opportunity to highlight how they are contributing to the new green economy. Winners will be selected by our panel of expert judges, including some of the UK's most high profile green business executives and winners from previous years' awards.
The entry period for the awards is open until March 1st and the shortlist will be announced on April 4th. Tickets for the awards ceremony will then go on sale from April 4th.
Success at the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards represents one of the most coveted accolades available for companies and individuals operating in the fast expanding green economy.
The Awards' gala evening at the Brewery in London will bring together finalists, sponsors, and political and business leaders from across the green economy to celebrate the success of the past year and debate the future development of this most exciting of sectors. The eventual winners from among the audience of over 400 green business executives will be celebrated by their peers and will also be profiled to BusinessGreen's global audience of senior business leaders and policymakers.
As in previous years, the awards are free to enter - we want to encourage as many innovative green businesses and projects as possible to highlight their achievements.
However, those organisations that are selected for the shortlist are required to attend the awards and purchase a minimum of two tickets. All shortlisted organisations that commit to attending the awards will be given access to the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards Shortlist logo, which includes permission to reproduce the logo in any marketing material.
