WATCH: Sustainability and environment director at Hays Recruitment offers his advice and tips to BusinessGreen about how to develop a career in corporate sustainability

Paul Gosling is a specialist recruiter in the environment and sustainability sector with over 25 years' experience. He joined Hays Recruitment as director of sustainability and environment in 2021, where he leads a team of industry experts across the UK who specialise in recruitment within the emerging areas of sustainable buildings, the circular economy, environmental roles, and corporate sustainability.

At BusinessGreen's recent Net Zero Festival 2023, Gosling formed part of a panel of speakers who offered advice and guidance on becoming a corporate sustainability officer, shedding light on the responsibilities and impact of this vital position.

Following that discussion, Gosling sat down with BusinessGreen's features editor Cecilia Keating to discuss his main takeaways from the Net Zero Festival, and offered his tips on how to develop a career in corporate sustainability.

Their conversation - which forms part of a series of Greenhouse interviews with speakers from the 2023 Net Zero Festival - can be watched back in full below.

While this year's event may have drawn to a close, the Net Zero Festival will be back in force again in 2024 - so sign up here to stay in the loop on the plans for next year's event.
