DLL confirms winner of BusinessGreen Leaders Awards competition

BusinessGreen Leaders Awards category sponsor DLL has announced the winner of its green driving competition, which offered the victor in the night's prize draw the chance to get behind the wheel of a plug-in hybrid BMWi8 sports car.

Michelle Hubert of the CBI was named as the winner of the driving experience, which saw the electric sports car put through its paces.

"DLL was extremely proud to be selected as a headline sponsor at the recent BusinessGreen Leaders Awards," said a spokesman for the asset-based financial solutions specialist. "The event was a great opportunity for us to connect with people within the industry and also to share the important role that finance holds in supporting sustainable business practices."

The BusinessGreen Leaders Awards saw over 500 executives from across the green economy gather at The Brewery in Central London last month to celebrate some of the most inspiring and innovative sustainable projects, companies, and individuals working in the UK today.

The announcement of the competition winner comes just ahead of the launch of the BusinessGreen Technology Awards, which will allow some of the UK's most exciting clean tech firms to compete for a series of coveted awards.
