BusinessGreen.com and Global Action Plan have today extended its early bird offer for the first half-day training workshop: Greening your workplace – what works and how to make it happen.

Delegates now have an extra week to take advantage of the special offer price of £219 per person, representing a 12 per cent discount on the standard price of £249.

Companies booking two or more places are also still eligible for a discounted rate of £199 per person.

The four-hour training session will take place on the morning of Wednesday 9 June at the central London offices of Incisive Media

The training session, which will be delivered by Global Action Plan's experienced sustainability advisers, will provide those executives who are keen to improve the environmental performance of their operations, but are unsure how to act, with detailed and practical advice on how to develop a greener workplace.

It will cover a wide range of areas, including how to identify and measure your workplace's environmental impact, how to make effective use of eco-mapping tools, how to prioritise environmental actions, and how to overcome the organisational and financial barriers that block green projects

The workshop has been specifically tailored to suit any executive with responsibility for delivering green improvements within their organisation, including environmental, facilities and CSR managers. Unlike many sustainability training sessions, the workshop will focus on the practical steps businesses should be taking and will provide delegates with a set of tools that they can implement immediately at their sites to help them achieve their environmental goals.

In order to ensure all delegates can play a proactive role in the workshop, places for the session are strictly limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
