To celebrate Green Great Britain Week, the BusinessGreen Leaders Summit is now free to attend for all green economy stakeholders

To celebrate Green Great Britain Week, BusinessGreen is delighted to announce that free tickets are now available to its annual BusinessGreen Leaders Summit on 16 October.

Our annual Summit is designed to provide an invaluable opportunity for green businesses and stakeholders to come together and explore the myriad opportunities and challenges presented by the transition to a sustainable economy.

Thanks to the support of our sponsors, this year we are able to open up the event for all key green economy players to participate in a fascinating day of thought-provoking presentations, inspiring speeches, and informative discussion.

You can now register for your free place on the BusinessGreen Leaders Summit website. Places are reserved for sustainability professionals and stakeholders in the green economy. They are available on a first come, first serve basis, so please register early to avoid disappointment.

The day-long Summit features a host of high profile speakers from across the green economy who will discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by a sector in the grip of a rapid and critically important transition.

Confirmed speakers include energy and clean growth minister Claire Perry, Professor Corinne Le Quere of Tyndall Centre, Pam Batty of Burberry, James Thornton of ClientEarth and senior executives from the likes of Friend of the Earth, Heathrow, BBC, BT, Centrica, and many more.

"Green Great Britain Week provides a unique opportunity to raise the profile of the green economy and debate the next phase of innovation and development for the sector," said BusinessGreen editor-in-chief James Murray. "As our mission statement declares BusinessGreen is 'for the green economy'. As such it is always our intention to try and reach as wide an audience as possible and we are delighted that this year the sponsors for the Summit have allowed us to offer passes to the event and its fantastic line-up free of charge to key player in the green economy."
