Expanded line up for BusinessGreen Technology Festival confirmed, ahead of announcement of Technology Challenge roster
The line-up for the inaugural BusinessGreen Technology Festival is expanding fast, with the confirmation of three dedicated 'zones' for clean technology entrepreneurs, sustainability executives, and green investors.
Taking place at the Plexal innovator hub in Stratford, London on Thursday December 5th, the BusinessGreen Technology Festival and Awards will bring together some of the most exciting UK green technology providers, alongside leading executives from blue chip firms and top sustainability investors.
The day will feature keynote speakers, such as chair of the National Infrastructure Commission Sir John Armitt and former nPower CEO Paul Massara, as well as panel debates and a series of speed presentations from some of the UK's most inspiring clean tech companies as part of the BusinessGreen Technology Challenge.
Three 'zones' during the afternoon will also allow delegates to take a deep dive into various aspects of how to accelerate and scale green technology roll outs.
The 'Innovator Zone' will provide guidance on how to accelerate the scale up phase for green technology businesses and develop an effective sales and marketing strategy.
The 'Deployment Zone' will feature input from sustainability guru and former head of Plan A at Marks & Spencer, Mike Barry, on how to deploy new green technologies effectively.
And the 'Finance Zone' will see Granted Consultancy offer advice on how to maximise appeal to investors, while a panel discussion will bring together top green investors to discuss how to build the business case for early stage technology deployments.
The Festival will culminate in the fifth annual BusinessGreen Technology Awards, where over 100 of the UK's most exciting green technology firms will be celebrated through our prestigious awards ceremony.
"The BusinessGreen Technology Festival and Awards provides a unique forum to bring together the technology developers, investors, and corporates that will be critical to determining the pace at which the UK builds a net zero emission economy," said BusinessGreen editor-in-chief James Murray. "It promises to be an informative and inspiring day, providing a rare opportunity to assess and explore the wide range of cutting edge technologies that will shape the coming decades. Innovators, entrepreneurs, sustainability executives, and investors should reserve their place as soon as possible."
Tickets for the Festival and Awards are available to book now, with discounts available for group bookings.
