RenewableUK
Formerly known as the British Wind Energy Association (BWEA), RenewableUK is the trade association for the British wind and marine energy industry.
Formed in 1978, it has a large corporate membership.
In late 2009 the BWEA approved plans to change its name to RenewableUK and as a result is increasingly positioning itself as a trade and lobbying group for the entire renewable energy industry.
