The Freeloader Battery Charger is an add-on for the Freeloader solar powered charger and lets you replenish a pair of NiMH or NiCad AA or AAA rechargeable batteries (two AA cells included).
It also works via USB and takes around three and a half hours to fully charge the batteries - three LEDs indicate charging progress.

An LED flashlight is also built into the charger, which is a nice touch.
