Online backup and recovery service DataStore365 has teamed up with software vendor Asigra and reseller ACS Office Solutions to provide Northampton Saints Rugby club with automated backup technology.
Following a recommendation by ACS, the club approached DataStore365 to help solve its business continuity and data protection needs.
Gary Witts, director of DataStore365, said: “Northampton Saints had a bad experience with tape once. Tape is unreliable and can be erased easily,” said Witts.
“DataStore365 offers backup on the internet. The club can store all its data such as membership numbers; medical information; ticket sales; and player performance stats,” he said.
Jon Thorpe, joint managing director of reseller ACS Office Solutions, said: “ACS chose to partner with DataStore365 because its backup system complements our service offering perfectly.
“Working together, we can offer our customers a reliable, hands-free approach
to data storage and retrieval. The Saints found it suited their needs and
allowed them to focus on their world-class rugby.”
Witts said Asigra provides the software platform for DataStore365’s solutions. ”
