Senior executives from Nespresso, Whitbread, and Pukka Herbs join leading green communications experts at BusinessGreen's latest half day conference

Calling all marketing and communications professionals. The line-up for the BusinessGreen Leaders Briefing on the Secrets of Green Marketing and Climate Comms has now been finalised ahead of the half day conference on the morning of December 7th, and the chance to hear from some of the UK's leading green communications experts is not to be missed.

The event at the May Fair Hotel in central London kicks off with a keynote address from climate policy and polling expert and author of The Climate Majority, Leo Barasi, who will provide an invaluable insight into the changing way in which the public is engaging with environmental issues.

The speech will be followed by a panel discussion on the dos and don'ts of effective green marketing, featuring Victoria Page, chair of the PRCA's Responsible Business Group, Georgia Phillips, senior partnerships manager at Pukka Herbs, Guy Pattison, CEO of Stronger Stories and co-founder of the Clean and Cool Mission, and James Pitcher, director of sustainability at Whitbread.

The session will also feature a case study presentation from Julie Gallacher, head of corporate communications and sustainability at Nespresso UK&ROI, on how the coffee giant developed its green communications strategy, as well as a presentation from Sarah Merrick, CEO of Ripple Energy, on how the start-up is presenting its innovative green energy offer to customers.

Finally, the half day conference will wrap up with a conversation between BusinessGreen editor James Murray and Trewin Restorick, co-founder of environmental social enterprise Hubbub, on how it has come to play a leading role in the coffee chain sector's response to public outcry over the waste created by disposable coffee cups.

Building on the successful BusinessGreen Leaders Briefing on navigating the TCFDs, the conference will provide invaluable insight into one of the critical trends impacting green businesses, along with the chance to debate one of the key issues of the day and network with peers.

The event is free to attend for all BusinessGreen Leaders Subscribers and tickets are now available for all other subscribers and readers.
