Hosted in association with PwC, BusinessGreen's new hub aims to help businesses navigate the global efforts to tackle climate change

BusinessGreen is today stepping up its coverage of the crucial UN global climate change talks, with the launch of its dedicated Road to Paris Hub.

Hosted in association with PwC, the hub will provide in-depth news, analysis and opinion on the build-up to the UN climate summit in Paris later this year, where nearly 200 countries are expected to sign a deal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prevent the worst impacts of global warming.

The hub will focus on the economic and business implications that will arise from the negotiations and eventual agreement, and will feature all the latest news on the talks, in-depth analysis of how the business community will be affected, and exclusive interviews with senior business leaders, ministers and diplomats.

The hub is supported by consultancy PwC, which will be providing its own in-depth analysis of the talks and the lessons they contain for business leaders. All the content provided by BusinessGreen and our other contributors will be fully editorially independent.

The hub kicks off today with a review of the current state of the climate change talks, and what businesses are hoping to see from the culmination of the long-running negotiations. We also have a blog from BusinessGreen editor James Murray on the how the Paris summit promises to be one of the biggest business stories of our generation, and later this week we'll be providing an in-depth overview of all the emissions reduction pledges that have been submitted to the UN to date.

In a new series, we will be asking corporate leaders what Paris means to them and their businesses, as well as taking a look at what a global climate deal will mean for individual sectors within the economy.

There is a little over 150 days before the world is expecting to agree a deal on climate change, and over the coming weeks and months BusinessGreen's new Road to Paris Hub will be striving to make sense of the implications of the climate change talks for the green economy - both environmentally and economically.
