BusinessGreen has today extended the Early Bird offer for its upcoming climate risk lecture evening at the University of Manchester on 17 May.
Readers will now have until 3 May to take advantage of our special offer price of £45, a saving of £20 on the normal ticket price.
Following the success of BusinessGreen's climate risk lecture evening in London, our upcoming event at the University of Manchester will feature a series of short lectures exploring the growing climate threats many businesses face and how best to manage and reduce those risks.
We can also confirm that the full speaker line up for the evening will feature presentations from John Broderick, Knowledge Transfer Fellow at Tyndall Manchester, Louise Whall, from Defra's Adapting to Climate Change Programme, Anthony Day, director of sustainability consultancy Cyber Associates, and Chris Shearlock, sustainable development manager at The Co-operative.
The expert speakers will provide an introduction to the latest climate science and insight into how climate impacts will affect business operations, as well as guidance on how businesses can and should develop effective climate risk management policies.
The short lectures will be followed by a question-and-answer session and networking drinks reception.
