BusinessGreen.com has today announced the date for its rescheduled lecture evening for senior executives, How big is your footprint? Carbon and the future of business management.

This evening of short lectures will now take place on Wednesday 29 September at the London School of Economics Wolfson Theatre.

The event will feature lectures from the Committee on Climate Change's chief economist Adrian Gault, Paul Simpson of the Carbon Disclosure Project, Leo Johnson, co-founder of Sustainable Finance and a partner at PwC, and Christopher Norton, partner at leading law firm Hogan Lovells.

Due to the increasing popularity of the BusinessGreen.com lectures, it is necessary to charge a nominal fee to cover our costs and ensure that we can keep delivering essential and timely lectures to the market.

BusinessGreen.com readers are eligible for an early bird offer of just £35 if they book before 7 September.

Each of the lectures will address how carbon is redefining the role of modern accountancy, ask how and why firms should measure their environmental impact, and explore some of the management techniques progressive businesses are deploying to encourage executives to deliver against carbon targets.

They will also provide executives with a valuable insight into the carbon regulations for which they need to prepare, and how new rules can help their business save money and exploit new low-carbon business opportunities.

The lectures will be followed by an interactive question and answer session, and networking drinks.

The latest lecture follows on from BusinessGreen.com's successful Sustainable Business Lectures last year on the Copenhagen summit and the UK's Low Carbon Transition Plan, both of which attracted an audience of more than 150 senior executives.
